- About me:
Introduction:
Hey, I'm Martin – a guy who's been riding the waves of snow and streets for a solid 15 years. I've got a passion for all things board-related, and I've been on quite the journey, picking up skills and experiences along the way.
Snowboard Instructor Licenses:
I'm stoked to share that I've earned my stripes in the snowboarding world. Started off with a Snowboard Instructor License C from Sapul, Tatranská Lomnica, Slovakia, and then leveled up to a License B at the legendary Kitzsteinhorn in Austria. Teaching others to ride the powder and conquer the slopes has been a true joy.
Skater Instructor License III. Degree:
But it's not just about the snow for me. Prague witnessed me grabbing a Skater Instructor License III. Degree from the Czech Skateboarding Association. Yep, I can shred on wheels too – versatility is key!
International Experience:
I've been lucky enough to take my passion across borders. Spent four awesome seasons teaching snowboarding in Germany, France, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Each place brought its own flavor, and I soaked it all in, adapting my teaching style to the diverse terrains.
Park Shaping Expertise:
When it comes to shaping the perfect terrain, I've had my hands (and boards) full. Eight seasons as a Park Shaper in Dachstein West, St. Anton, Pizol, Feldberg, and Špindlerův Mlyn. The highlight? Being the Head Shaper for the SBX World Cup 2017 in Feldberg, Germany – an experience that took my love for shaping parks to new heights.
Freestyle and Organizational Roles:
Beyond the slopes, I wear the Freestyle instructor hat at Špindlerův Mlyn campus, making sure riders not only ride but do it with style. Also, I've organized events like the Rippin skateboard event and run skateboard camps like Progress Kemp, creating spaces where the skating community can thrive.
About Me:
I'm not just about snow – I ride the waves in wakeboarding and windsurfing too. If it involves a board, count me in. With a decade-long snowboard instructor license, I've left my mark in Austria, France, Switzerland, and Germany. In the Czech Republic, I juggle roles as a snowboarding and freestyle instructor – it's a bit like having my own personal shred kingdom.
Conclusion:
So, that's a bit about me – a guy who lives for the rush of the slopes and the freedom of the streets. As I keep riding the waves, both snow-covered and paved, the adventure is far from over. Come join me – there's always room for one more on this epic journey! 🏂🛹
